WWW Wednesday is a weekly book meme article I love to write. In this article, I’ll tell you about what book(s) I last finished reading, What book(s) I’m currently reading and What I’m planning to read next. I also love to hear what all of your WWW’s are so feel free to leave a reply! Happy Reading!

I recently finished reading my re-read of Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare, the second book in the Dark Artifices trilogy. When I first read this book last year – I was so frigging lucky back then because I got my book 11 days prior to its release! – I was so overwhelmed by how much this book impacted me. It was like reading the Infernal Devices all over again when it comes to the intensity and feels this read provided me with. And re-reading this book now, made it no less impact worthy. Maybe even more so this second time around. What a powerful book. Clare’s writing knows no limits and she continues growing throughout every new book she writes and Lord of Shadows is perfect proof of that. So yeah, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed re-reading this book even though it emotionally destroyed me and I’m so scared to read Queen of Air and Darkness know, knowing my heart can’t bare any more heartbreak.

I’m currently reading an anthology arc I received earlier this month: Seasons of Sorcery by Amanda Bouchet, Jeffe Kennedy, Grace Draven and Jennifer Estep. The 4 stories are set in different worlds and each author approaches another theme that’s revolved around the Seasons. So there’s one for Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn. I’m currently reading the second story, a Curse for Spring by Amanda Bouchet, so that means I finished the first one, Winter’s Web by Jennifer Estep and still need to read the Summer and Autumn stories written by Jeffe Kennedy and Grace Draven. I told you guys in last week’s WWW that I was reading this anthology but the Lord of Shadows re-read got in between so I put this one off for a bit because I just couldn’t concentrate myself on reading anything other than Lord of Shadows.

I’ve also started reading a book that was on my physical tbr: Becoming Dragon by Eve Langlais, which is a book I pick up whenever I’m taking a bath since I don’t want to read on my kindle then – I really need to get myself that waterproof Paperwhite!!

Since the release of Queen of Air and Darkness is still almost 2 weeks from now, I’m going to try getting back on track with some of the arc’s waiting to be read. My reading time has been lessened exponentially lately so I haven’t been able to finish most of the arc’s I wanted to read this month haha. But, knowing myself, I’d probably end up picking another book in the end though, lol. It really depends on my mood regarding if I want to read on my kindle or read a printed copy when the moment’s there I pick a new read. Most of my arc’s are always e-book format so when I’m not into reading on the kindle, they are pushed back, which happened a lot lately, unfortunately. At the moment, these are the arc’s I’m looking forward to start reading most:

  • the Fifth Knight by Claire Luana & Jesikah Sundin
    (the Knights of Caerleon #1)
    Genre: Fantasy romance, Reverse Harem
  • Queen of Swords by Katee Robert
    (Sanctify #1)
    Genre: Science-Fiction, Paranormal Romance
  • Romanov by Nadine Brandes
Genre: YA fantasy, retelling, historical fiction
  • a Pack of Blood and Lies by Olivia Wildenstein
    (the Boulder Wolves #1)
    Genre: YA, paranormal, werewolves

And the choices are endless when it comes to that physical tbr, so it’s really hard to think of a specific book since there are so many I want to read all at once haha and it always depends on my mood at that specific moment of picking up a new book, as to what I’m going to read. But okay.. these are some of the books that pop into my mind right now:

  • Pucked love by Helena Hunting
    (Pucked #6)
    Genre: Sports romance, contemporary romance
  • Hot & Bothered by Elle Kennedy
    (Out of Uniform 1-3)
Genre: contemporary romance, Erotica, Military Fiction
  • A sorrow fierce and falling by Jessica Cluess
    (Kingdom on Fire #3)
Genre: Young Adult, Fantasy, Historical Fiction
  • a Reaper at the gates by Sabaa Tahir
(an Ember in the Ashes #3)
    Genre: Young adult, Fantasy
  • Phoenix unbound by Grace Draven
    (Fallen Empire #1)
    Genre: Adult Fantasy/Paranormal romance

So that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week! I’m really excited to hear about the books you’ve just finished reading, currently reading and planning on reading next. Love to hear from you. Have a nice Wednesday lovelies!

With Love,
Melissa ♥
