[arc BOOK REVIEW – Blog Tour] Matched by Paris Wynters (Navy Seals of Little Creek #2)

Today is my stop of this blog tour for Paris Wynter’s newest released Matched. Being a reviewer gives me a good opportunity to support an authors work through posting my reviews on the blog, among other things. Paris is an author I got familiar with a couple of years ago, before she released her first published book; Hearts Unleashed, that I was asked to review as well. I fell in love with her writing right then and there and am always excited to read a new story written by her.  Back in June, you were able to read my review on the first book in this series, Issued, and today…

[BOOK REVIEW] Knotted by Pam Godwin (Trails of Sin #1)

How fitting this title is, Knotted, seeing the author had my stomach in a knot the entire freaking time while reading this book. From beginning till end. This book was filled with so much heartbreak and sadness, but so much power and strong characters and hope. Reading this book left me feeling raw and exposed in the best ways possible. I can’t begin to find the words to tell you what this story made me feel. But wow, did it MAKE ME FEEL. Trigger Warning: I’ve heard that this author’s other dark romance books have triggers in them a lot of the time, and with this one that’s the case…

[BOOK REVIEW] Driven by K. Bromberg (Driven #1)

Ok, so this was a difficult review to write. I don’t like to put a negative vibe on a review, you know? And it’s sometimes hard to find the right words when describing what you didn’t like about a book. I always want to highlight the things I did like as well, but mostly is a book I just couldn’t fall in love with and I feel very sad about that because I had high hopes for it! I wanted to read this book because it was on my kindle, the synopsis sounds great and I know that Passionflix even turned it into a movie. So I was quite intrigued…

[BOOK REVIEW] Heartbreaker by Inara Scott

I love love love reading romance stories that have animals present in them, preferable dogs and horses. So when I got the opportunity to read an arc of this one, I couldn’t pass up on it. It didn’t take me long to finish this book. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Mistakes? She’s made a few… Dropped out of high school? Check. Ran away with loser boyfriend at age sixteen? Check. Fell for every line from every guy? Sadly, check. But now, Tess Papion has started over. Juggling multiple part-time jobs while finishing her college degree, she’s not…

[BOOK REVIEW] Armed ‘N Ready by Tee O’Fallon (Federal K-9 #2)

When I got the opportunity to review this second book in the Federal K-9 series, there was no doubt in my mind as to wether I should take this opportunity or not. So thank you so so much St. Martins press and Netgalley, for providing me with an arc copy! I’ve read and LOVED the first book in the series, which I’ve read twice already, so I was really eager to get my hands on this second installment. Massachusetts State Police Sgt. Nick Houston is as tough as they come, and he and his K-9, Saxon, are hot on the trail of a major illegal gun dealer. But his best lead—the…

[BOOK REVIEW] Shadow and Ice by Gena Showalter (Gods of War #1)

I’ve had to ponder a bit about how to best go about writing down this review. It’s so hard to put a book into words that had you feeling so many contradictory feelings. You don’t want to let down the author, knowing they all put their heart into their work. But you also want to be honest. It’s tough finding the right words to talk about of which you don’t only have positive things to say, you know? Let’s give it a go! Knox of Iviland, the most ruthless warrior in All War history, has spent his life fighting others to the death, winning new realms for his king. Now…
